Descendants Jazz
Step into the world of Descendants and bring the attitude, style, and confidence to the dance floor! This jazz class is designed for dancers ages 7–9 who are ready to build strong jazz technique while performing high-energy choreography inspired by the bold characters and music from Descendants.
Dancers will focus on foundational jazz skills including sharp and fluid movements, kicks, turns, jumps, isolations, and performance quality. Classes emphasize musicality, strength, flexibility, and expressive storytelling—helping dancers grow both technically and artistically.
This class encourages confidence, individuality, and teamwork in a positive and motivating environment. Dancers will learn a fun, age-appropriate routine that may be performed in our end-of-season recital.
Disclaimer: All classes, including Little Movers, are closed to in-class viewing. We understand your little ones may be nervous, but we find most kids adjust by the end of the first class when parents are not present. The longer a parent stays in class, the longer it takes for the child to adjust, and the longer they are a distraction to other dancers. Please speak to our front office staff with any concerns regarding this policy.
